ACF Equine, expertise and knowledge of young horses

Jérôme DELAUNAY: 28 years old, has a solid experience in jumps, thanks to his training at Philippe Peltier’s and practice as a Gentleman Rider. Delaunay settled in 2007 as breaker and pre-trainer in the Maine-et-Loire. He then passed his public trainer license in 2015.

Alban CHEVALIER DU FAU: 37 years old, son of a trainer, grew up surrounded by horses in Chantilly. After an intensive experience at the Irish National Stud, followed by several years spent abroad at Christophe Clément’s (in the USA) and Nicky Henderson’s (in Great Britain), he rode more than 200 races in both flat and jumps as Gentlemen Rider. Chevalier du Fau finally settled as a breaker, more than 10 years ago.

ACF Equine was created in September 2015, from the merger of the complementary activities of two young professionals from the thoroughbred industry : Jerome DELAUNAY and Alban CHEVALIER DU FAU.

Thanks to a selective team of 12 qualified and experienced staff, the future athletes evolve in a very calm environment, following a regular and well-organised work schedule.

Only 10 minutes away from Angers, ACF Equine offers outstanding facilities set in two distinct stables. One dedicated to the breaking, where the new residents are held in “quarantine”, and the other one, exclusively focused on the pre-training and preparation to sales. This ensures the best conditions for the development of horses and guaranties a great level of hygiene and security.
